There’s always more.

“It’s not a secret. Life is a roller coaster. We can barely see ahead of us, but it’s scaring, exhilarating, unpredictable, and every other emotion possible. In the end, it’s conquered. It’s over. Hopefully, you come out saying- yes I survived. Maybe right now you’re stuck. You don’t know how to get out, you don’t know what you did to deserve the situation. Maybe you blame others. Maybe you’re mad at God and don’t understand why He’s letting you in there. Maybe you don’t believe in God. Whatever the case is, please know that all your pain in that moment is but a drop of ink in the sea of your lifetime. In the context of everything, maybe your situation will only bring you greater things. There’s more to come, I promise. The human mind is so finite and can’t comprehend how things will turn out in the end. Trudge through the mud so you can look back and say, “Wow. I survived.” “So that’s how we live our lives. No matter how deep and fatal the loss, no matter how important the thing that’s stolen from us-thats snatched right out of our hands-even if we are left completely changed people with only the outer layer of skin from before, we continue to play out our lives this way, in silence. We draw ever nearer to our allotted span of time, bidding it farewell as it trails off from behind. Repeating, often adroitly, the endless deeds of everyday, leaving behind the feeling of immeasurable emptiness.”
