And it’s currently Hanukah.
Seeing everyone’s happy and cheerful statuses and tweets makes me extremely happy as well.
It’s good to see everyone in a good mood. It’s contagious. I personally haven’t been having the greatest week, but seeing photos of Christmas trees and people with their families on my feed makes me feel tons better.
It’s a wonderful time of year, and New Years is just around the corner.
2011 was not the greatest time for my family. I lost my Grandmother to cancer, my father lost his job, had a heart attack and I’ve been in and out of the hospital for various things.
Still, we keep on. When things get rough, we just having to keep pushing through. Everything gets better. Maybe ‘it gets better’ is an overused phrase, but it’s true. It’s 100% true. We just have to be strong and carry on.
The holidays are a great time to reflect on the year, on life, on the things we’re all grateful for.
If 2011 wasn’t your year, make 2012 the best one yet. Make resolutions and stay true to them. Spend more time doing things you love. Keep an eye out for opportunities. Be the best you can be.
Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa and Happy New Year!
Make it the best ones yet.
And Merry Christmas from my cats to yours, haha. x
