It’s hard for me to explain what this song means to me. Ever since I was seven years old and playing with baby dolls alone in my room, it’s undoubtedly been my favorite. I remember first hearing it on the radio while I was in the car with my mom. I was obviously too young to put a real story with a song, but it never left me. Still, it brings back floods of memories that I never want to forget.
As we come to an end with March and the beginning of spring, I’ve been reflecting on the first quarter of this year and how far I’ve come since December. To be brutally honest, I wasn’t sure if I’d make it to see the first day of 2012. But now, looking back, I could not be more grateful that I did. So many doors have opened up since then and a new hope has found its way through to me. After all, every start comes from the end of another beginning.
