Louisa Rose Allen, the gifted woman behind Foxes, claims her stage name came from a dream of hers. Hailing from Southampton, England, the humble singer/songwriter has been actively making a name for herself in these last few years. Her past EPs include hits, “Warrior”, “Echo”, and “White Coat”, some of which were featured on the popular TV show, Gossip Girl. The success of her Warrior EP gained her media attention, opening doors to major collaborations with Fall Out Boy, Rudimental, and DJ/producer Zedd. Teaming up with Zedd on the smash-hit “Clarity” helped her ink a deal with major label RCA Records. Considered one of the songs of the summer, the song has since climbed into the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Foxes can be described as a unique swirl of pop-rock and electronic music, giving listeners a refreshing balance of both genres. Allen’s talents as a musician contribute to her growing fame, not to mention her incredible singing abilities. With the recent re-release of her single ”Youth”, Foxes remains hard at work. She is also scheduled to release a full-length album on RCA Records in 2014.
